It has been a very busy summer and with summer comes lots of water and swimming! Of course, I have not always enjoyed swimming (though now can proudly say, I do like it, probably because I actually can swim!), but so far our little girls LOVE swimming. They have come so far from the beginning of this summer where they were wearing their life vests, floatie swimsuits, or tubes and now ... Emma will swim underwater like a shark!! She is doing awesome at it. Julia is not far behind, except she doesn't understand to close her mouth so she hasn't been able to put her face in the water yet.
It's amazing to see how quick they pick up a new skill, Emma has learned by watching the bigger kids and we have learned that Emma will most likely be a "follower" and Julia will be a "leader" ... only time will tell :)
